Dear Community,
We invite you to a hybrid community gathering on Thursday, March 27th, specifically for Black community leaders, providers, CBOs, and businesses, to discuss the Ebony Alert and how we can make it an effective tool in addressing the crisis of missing Black individuals. Far too often, our missing loved ones do not receive the urgency and attention they deserve. This is a community issue that requires a community response, and we need your voice at the table.
The Ebony Alert has the support of organizations and leaders committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our community including Nature Carter -Gooding of SIS Network, Cherryl Jackson- Williams of Renton School District and Deadria Boyland from Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
This gathering will provide a space for us to learn more about the Ebony Alert, discuss its potential impact, and strategize on how to ensure it is an effective tool for our community. Whether you attend…
